Oversight board critical of Toronto police

The chair and vice-chair of Toronto’s civilian oversight board are increasingly critical of the police department, according to this article. Points of contention include routine strip searches of arrested persons, an expensive and disappointing organizational review, and growing annual policing costs, set to reach $1.08 billion in 2014.
