Community policing cuts in PSNI

Following up on an earlier post about deep budget cuts facing policing in Northern Ireland, this article reports reductions in neighborhood policing teams and other community engagement initiatives. According to one critic, “It is quite clear many of the things we expect a modern, progressive policing service to deliver will now be put on the backburner or set aside.”
