Police university closure in Turkey nears

This article reports passage of eight bills in Turkey’s parliament that will lead to closure of the nation’s police university and likely retirement of many police chiefs and other top officials. The changes seem to represent politicization of policing and the president’s revenge against earlier corruption investigations.
