Grading Canada’s justice system

A “report card” on the criminal justice system in each of Canada’s 13 provinces and territories, based on measures of public safety, support for victims, costs and resources, fairness and access, and efficiency, is available here. It concludes that the country faces a “‘justice deficit’ – a large and growing gap between the aspirations of the justice system and its actual performance.”
