Ivory poaching continuing

Nearly all elephant ivory recovered by authorities represents recent poaching, not theft or leakage from government stockpiles, according to a new scientific study. The good news is that corruption or negligence is not compromising the stockpiles. The bad news is that ivory poaching continues to threaten the elephant population in Africa and Asia.
