Training gaps in India

Police hiring in India outstrips training capacity, resulting in about 20% not receiving basic training, according to the country’s Bureau of Police Research and Development. Ongoing training is also insufficient — on average, police get update training once in 18 years. E-learning is recommended as one solution to the situation, according to this article.
