International Security Sector Advisory Team (ISSAT)

ISSAT, a branch of the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces, offers “support to the international community to reinforce and strengthen their individual and collective efforts to improve security and justice, primarily in conflict-affected and fragile states.” The team uses donor funds to help develop democratic policing in numerous countries around the world. A 5-minute overview video is available here, and a range of videos on topics like police accountability, building trust, and gender mainstreaming is located here.
