Inconsistent police handling of rape in the UK

This report describes rather wide fluctuations between UK police forces in official handling of reported rapes. For example, the rate at which cases were classified as unfounded, or “no crimed,” was 3% in one force and 33% in another. The College of Policing and victim groups are working on improving national guidance to reduce these disparities.
